4th Annual Matt Henk Foundation Benefit Softball Tournament
Matt was a career Firefighter/Paramedic with The City of Mentor Fire Department since July 2000. He married his high school sweetheart in 2002 and prepared to start a family and live a long life together.
In February 2005, Matt began treatment for colon cancer, and while in a period of remission, the Henk family welcomed twin girls into the world in March 2007.
Soon after, his cancer returned and aggressive treatments stopped working. Matt passed away August 12th 2009. All proceeds from this tournament will go to The Matt Henk Foundation.
